CABIN FEVER RELIEVER

RIDIN' STEEL's "CABIN FEVER RELIEVER" was a great success this past sunday. We had about 30 Ride Organizers show up to plug their run, raised a little money to help out the "GET ON THE BANDWAGON fund , assisted Pam Payeur in raising a little money to help out our Wounded Soldiers returning home to Maine and provided a prosperous day for BENTLEYS SALOON. The sun was out and bikers came to fill BENTLEYS to capacity. Amanda had to take on the role as host, so that those out in the parking lot could get their ride plugged for the show. Meanwhile inside BENTLEYS, Host Kristen Walton & Pony Dionne were busy interviewing people.

It was a great way to kick off the riding season and we establish a lot of new contacts and relationships. I've already received an e-mail complimenting the RIDIN' STEEL Crew on their professionalism and on their ability to handle a demanding and sometime chaotic scenario.

Hey guys, I have added Meebo to our site, It is a chat form like what is on Facebook and Myspace. Through Meebo you are able to connect with your friends from many of those fourms. I hope you enjoy this new addition. You will see the log on area at the bottom of the page in the same areas that are on Myspace and Facebook.

Please if you have or know of any rides for a cause coming up in 2010 please add the event and let us know if you would like us to take part. Now is the time to contact us if you would like your event filmed.

A reminder that THE BANDWAGON is actively seeking support by asking those of you that have joined our cause to send a dollar each to help build our fund up. Our recent dance brought in a little over $450.00 and that's a great start. We know times are difficult so just send what you can.

A big thank you goes out to Rocky Rivard for his recent push on FACEBOOK to help us out with this cause. RIDIN' STEEL & The Board Members of THE BANDWAGON are sincerely grateful for his help.

Keep in mind folks that cancer does not discriminate, and when your hit with this disease it is often a surprise. Most everyone I know is not prepared financially or mentally for this kind of news. THE BANDWAGON wants to be ready to help. After all, that is the concept behind this cause. When THE STONEMAN was diagnosed with cancer, it took him totally by surprise. He found himself in a situation where time was of the essence and He was desperately seeking a second opinion and options. His insurance company was putting him through delays and time was something he had very little of.

So GET ON THE BANDWAGON NOW!

RIDIN' STEEL UPDATE

The RIDIN' STEEL Crew and I hope that all of you Bikers out there are having a fun & safe Holiday Season. 2009 has been one hell of a year! We were able to attend a lot of Charity Bike Runs and meet a lot of very caring & beautiful people. Although we all seem to meet under conditions that are less ideal, we're out there doing our best to instill hope in those people on the receiving end of your love and generosity. I have learned this past summer that it's not necessarily about the money raised to help those in need, nearly as much as it's about the sense of gratitude one experiences when 50 to 1000 bikers gather together to ride for someone they may not even know. The exhilirating sound of hundreds of motorcycle engines roaring at the same time is an experience that is difficult to explain, but it must be comparable to what a person feels when all you bikers gather to pay homage or support to a cause greater than yourself. RIDIN' STEEL has come along way in a very short period of time. There was obviously a need for someone to step up and bring about awareness to a group of very special people that have been misunderstood for a long time. It is my hopes that our show is bringing about awareness to riders out there as well as to the general public, that the past negative stereotypes of the American Biker no longer apply.

I am very proud of the causes we've been trying to support and the people that I have met.

So many have offered their assistance to RIDIN' STEEL by volunteering to operate a camera or seek out raffle items or make a donation to help keep our show on air, book bands, or join us on our rides. You all need to know how thankful I am for your support. Please keep checking out this site regularly. We have a lot of fun ideas and plans for 2010 and we look forward to meeting you

The Bandwagon's first fundraiser

THE BANDWAGON

A good time was had by all that attended our 1st. Annual Fundraiser for THE BANDWAGON. The music provided by 'DRIVE' kept us on our feet all night and "I do feel the burn this morning".

Our gratitude goes out to Erica 'The Mighty Isis' McIver for heading off ticket sales and lining up the band. Rick Lewis for arranging a place to gather with the BATH ELKS, and all the other Board Members,

Bob & Kristen Walton, Dick Dionne, Bob Dionne and Patty Labbe.

We recognize the help also from Tom Atwood for being our doorman,

Lisa Moore for offering to take care of the 50/50 raffle and Facebook's

Rocky Rivard for his continuous support of this charity.

But the biggest THANK YOU of all goes out to all of you that came in support of this very important cause. I sincerely hope you enjoyed your night with us and look forward to the next time we get together.

GET ON THE BANDWAGON

This new charity to compliment STONEY'S LOBSTER RUN was announced and introduced to the Riders and General Public at the after party of Stoney's 29th Annual Lobster Run 2009.

Stoney personally witnessed and experienced the difficulties a cancer patient has in attaining a second opinion on their condition. After being diagnosed with Lung Cancer, I believe he found that Insurance Companies can make it very difficult for people.

In his announcement at CUDDY'S on August 2nd, he stated and I quote " this new charity "THE BANDWAGON" will raise funds for those who need a second opinion, because when your diagnosed with cancer, you don't have much time to deal with the "red tape and hoops" the insurance comanies make you deal with. This will allow us to cut the @#it and cut a check for those who need help".

So the work will begin on carrying out Stoney's wishes. More information will be provided in the very near future. Please check outour site ridinsteel.com frequently for upcoming news.

As I see it, if Stoney is going to put us to work, then we're going to have one hell of a good time doing it. So future events promise to have a whole lot of FUN accompanying them.
